Our Lady "Joy of All Who Sorrow" is famous for a miracle in 1688. Patriarch Joachim's sister (1674-1690) Euphemia, who lived in Moscow for a long time had suffered from an incurable disease. One morning, while praying, she heard a voice: "Euphemia! Go to the church of the Transfiguration of My Son, there is the image called" The Joy of All Who Sorrow. "The priest worships the service with the blessing of the water, and you be healed of the disease." Euphemia, after finding out that such an icon, really, was in Moscow, in the church of the Transfiguration in Ordynka, fulfilled the commandment of the Blessed Virgin Mary - and was healed.
