Icon depicts St. Nicholas surrounded by 16 scenes from his life. On the sidelines of the icons there are presented Guardian Angel, St. Barbara (December), the holy Empress Alexandra (May 6) and holy Thomaida (April 26). Saint Nicholas is painted in traditional style - with a high forehead - a sign of wisdom, the big kind eyes and a neat little beard, which corresponds to the classical iconography of the saint. In his left hand he holds an open Gospel, and blesses with the right. On both sides of the head there are the holy images of Jesus Christ and the Virgin. The icon is made in the technique of oil painting.
